The doctors at Plum Creek Dental Group
collectively have over one hundred years
Malcolm Berg is President and CEO of Plum Creek Dental Group. He began private practice in Luling in 1998 after serving in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps for over twenty years. He was a highly decorated officer, having served during three armed conflicts.
He and his wife, Debbie, have two sons, Stephen, a U.S. Air Force dentist stationed at Yokota Air Force Base, Japan, and Michael, a TCU master's graduate and CPA senior staff auditor for KPMG in St. Louis. Dr. Berg is very involved with mission work in Nicaragua, but in his spare time he enjoys working out, reading scripture, and playing guitar (real loud). He is a big University of Texas Longhorns and Chicago Cubs fan.
Providing top notch care for our pediatric and special needs patients is the goal of Dr. Rebecca Schneider. Dr. Schneider is a 2009 graduate of the University of Washington dental school, and completed a residency at Seattle Special Care Dentistry in 2010. She received her pediatric training at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, and upon completion of her residency in 2012, moved to the Austin area with her husband. In her spare time, Rebecca likes to play soccer, ski, and hike. Dr. Schneider is also involved in mission work, having recently returned from a medical-dental trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
A fourth generation dentist, Garrett Nelson provides superior implant and oral surgery services to Plum Creek Dental Group utilizing the very latest in technology. Dr. Nelson received his dental degree from UCLA and his oral surgery certificate from Baylor University, as well as a medical degree from Texas Tech. He has been an Associate Clinical Professor at the Baylor dental school for over ten years. When he's not spending time with his patients and four children, Dr. Nelson enjoys golf, running, skiing and serving his church and community.
Dr. Westover is Vice President and COO of Plum Creek Dental Group, and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and prides himself on providing a comfortable experience in the dental chair. Outside of the office, Dr. Westover spends much of his free time serving in leadership roles for the Boy Scouts of America and the young men's program at church. In addition, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, motocross, competitive water skiing, and just about anything else outdoors.
Dr. Angela Mathew is a 2010 graduate of the University of Texas School of Health Care Sciences dental program in San Antonio. Her passion is providing dental care for children, although she is also particularly adept at implant dentistry and enjoys creating computer assisted design (CAD/CAM) crowns. She loves interacting with both staff and patients, and is a true student of dentistry. In her rare spare time, she likes to read and travel.
Dr. Elie Hage graduated in 1992 from the University of Texas dental school in San Antonio. After completing an advance general practice residency at the Baylor School of Dentistry in 1993, Dr. Hage practiced in Dallas and Austin for twenty years before joining the Plum Creek Dental Group staff. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Jeff Ault serves as staff orthodontist at the Lockhart office. He is a graduate of the UT Houston Dental School and served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps before he completed orthodontic training. Dr. Ault and his wife, Ellen, have four children, who occupy all of his spare time --- but he is a big UT sports fan.
